Love it! We once offered Older Daughter a dime for helping us do something (this was in the 60s and she was maybe 6 yrs old) and Younger Daughter – now the Middle Kid – asked if we’d give her a nickel to stay out of the way.
We played a version of the Quiet Game when I was a kid, but in our house it went like this- you would get a dollar for every hour you didn’t make noise, but if you DID raise a ruckus it would cost you a dollar of your weekly allowance.
