I know the feeling.

Look before you leap. But He who hesitates is lost.

Haste makes waste. But Make hay while the sun shines.

There’s always room for one more. Except for The straw that broke the camel’s back.

Out of sight, out of mind. Or Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Is that a toad or a leap-ord frog?

What the heck did you leap from? You look like you got rolled!

…looks like he almost croaked…

I’m sure the tales of his exploits would be just ribbiting.
