Agreed. This is my absolute favorite.

Love it. Such a subtle commentary on the 60’s, what they meant, what hey seemed to mean and, perhaps, what they failed to mean. I also wonder Bob D. ever saw these strips and if they made him smile.

Did Garry draw that upside-down note in Panel 1? Maybe that’s one of his gag bits.

It’s a pretty accurate rendition of Dylan’s distancing himself from the counter culture. He’s pretty much been doing that at least since the “motorcycle accident.” Though even in his early years, he was teasing reporters that he was “a song and dance man.”
