Tucking a chicken’s head under it’s wing puts it right to sleep. Wonder if it would work for kids.

Grazer–next time I’m at my son’s, I’ll try sticking my granddaughter’s head under a chicken wing and let you know if it works.

Cul-de-sac is definetly a favorite of mine. But the argyle sweater is THE favorite of mine.

@leakysqueaky: Or better, into an animated series! Either Cartoon Network, Nick, Disney Channel / Disney XD or the CW4 Kids.

NO ANIMATED VERSIONS OF “CUL DE SAC!”
The line quality would have to be regularized, and I can pretty much guarantee that the voice acting would disappoint . Most people probably have voices for Alice and Dill in their heads, and that’s the way it should be.
Let printed cartoons remain printed. That’s how they are meant to be experienced.

fritzoid you gate crasher
We could have “you know who” play the voice of Dill.
But then again, he would try to explain everyones comments.

I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY with Fritzoid. NO animation could do this comic justice.
I was always disappointed with the Peanuts animation, hate the Garfield animation and never been very impressed with any of the DrSuess ones either. In fact, I cannot think of any ‘strip’ toon that has been converted to animation that I have enjoyed!
There is something about the ‘gag’ in 3 or 4 panels that rarely seems to translate well into 30minute bursts. But I am willing to be convinced and if R.T. is ever given the opportunity (and $$$) to do it I don’t think MY opinion should hold him back!
Just keep doing the daily for me too please RT!

Not “gatecrasher”, “gateKEEPER”.
“Charlie Brown Christmas” and “Great Pumpkin” I’ll exempt from my proscription, but I was watching those before I could read the comics on my own anyway. They’re clunky, but that’s part of their charm…
But to this day, those are the voices that I hear in my head whenever I read “Peanuts”…
(One other exemption: the old Fleisher Brothers “Popeye” cartoons, but those are works of art in their own right.)

I go with Dave-Sir - I think those are perfect vices for Alice and Miss Bliss.
Nice to see all the kudos - but where have you people been?
