I imagine Lio has to talk to the school psychologist a lot.

Very ambitious biological experiments may lead Lio to Frankensteinian successes. Just be careful about brains and socialization, Lio!

I think Lio should copy Larry Niven’s “Unfinished Story #2” for his report…

The reason that this is one of my favorite comics is because he reminds me of myself at that age. Yeah, I like to think this strip is based upon my childhood!

Think this through. If someone died in a catastrophic accident, severed limbs, compound fractures & such, what happens when you bring back life with all that agony? Will they all thank you for making them live as a quadriplegic or brain damaged? Playing God ain’t what it’s cracked up to be.

“That’s FrAHnkenLio!” And we’ll hope that the brain didn’t come from “Abby-somebody”.

Actually, Snoopy was parodying Edward Bulwer-Lytton, who wrote the line as the opening of his novel, “Paul Clifford.” The whole opening paragraph has become the symbol for hyperflorid overwrought descriptive prose..Bulwer-Lytton also coined the phrase, “The pen is mightier than the sword.” Just an potentially interesting bit of trivia.
