I found real wit and humor in two weekly places: the Dennis Miller portion of Bill O’Reilly’s Wednesday broadcasts, and the Saturday Wall Street Journal Editorial Report. Nothing else on tv.
I barely watch any tv anymore other than for sports. The comedy shows just are not that funny to me. Sure they give me a good laugh but the language used is horrible. the writers have no talent if they can not come up with other words besides b****** and a** among others. Why does a joke have to be funny only if you use foul language??
We only watch “over the air” television. I don’t mind a good “situation comedy” once in a while; but, I wish all were filmed in front of a live audience and without “faked” or “directed” laughter!.The “hahahahah” “hahahahah” “hahahahah” gets pretty old…
I don’t watch sitcoms (the jokes are too predictable) I watch college football mostly. Although last weekend you could have gotten a good laugh – provided you aren’t a Notre Dame fan.

This could have been written about the 2014 season, I’ll be surprised if one new sitcom makes it to season two.

Why watch broadcast when re-runs can be seen on the internet.

There are only 3 “new” shows that I watch: “The Walking Dead”, “Once Upon a Time” and “Dancing With the Stars”.

The last sitcom I watched on a regular basis was “Sienfeld”. I’ll stick with Resurrection, Sleepy Hollow, Supernatural, SVU and Grimm!

The last sitcom I watched was WWE Raw; what can I say it was a joke to show it.

The old shows always seem the best: we were young, naive, and every joke was new to us. As dflak said, “the jokes are too predictable” … now.
