Ay, it woold be a shame to let all that oil go to waste with a bunch of silly highlanders in charge of it. We shoold appropriate it to keep it out of reach of the rascals in the east.
either way, scotland wins. if the no vote wins, more devolved power to scotland. another stupid idea from the wanker tosser gormless pm called david cameron. the pm who censors the internet and hacks people’s phones.
I’d be rather more concerned about Russia, really, which has natural gas that it sells at outrageous prices to EU countries who are too scared of Russian tanks to develop other sources of energy.
The vote today has me a little nervous. Even though I am only an Anglophile in California, it doesn’t seem very fair for the population of one are make a decision which effects countless others without the others being allowed to vote on it as well.
As noted elsewhere: “Lest the good lady Queen forget, the bulk of the Royal Navy’s surface fleet is/was built in Glasgow which is the center of the UK’s Shipbuilding industry. There are 7 RAF bases in Scotland, and 7 battalions of line infantry, and over 20,000 Scots serving in the Royal Armed Forces – roughly 1/6th of the entire Royal Military – and an interesting fact, the Scots units are among the most storied, and best trained, in the entire Royal Military.” So they wouldn’t be short a military for very long.

OK, that’s funny…the subtle threat at which Victorian society excelled (and for which we seem to have lost the knack).

Funny how so many countries like to bad mouth the U.S. — But let something happen and they come crying to us for help.

Hey if you’ve got oil, you can hire an army, a navy and we’ll sell you the missiles.

I don’t think the current American president is insane. Inept, incompetent, invalid; but not insane.
