Transcript:
Phoebe: Can I come? Marigold: I am very sorry, Phoebe... We are going to a UNICORN SPA. Phoebe: That's discrimination. Marigold: We all dace it. I am not allowed in the produce aisle at the store. Phoebe: You were warned a bunch of times about grazing of the Brussels sprouts. Marigold: You mat as well ask the stars not to twinkle.

See, Phoebe? There is something that you could feed your unicorn under the table. If she fits, that is.

Phoebe at a unicorn spa sounds fun, and Marigold eating unbought vegetables makes her a hero to kids.

Phoebe’s right! This is discrimination! There’s a golf club that won’t allow women (Ok, I believe they have only 2 women to play golf there now.) there. Phoebe, you have to contact the ACLU and charge this unicorns for “kid discrimination.” Enough said!

The point is well taken. Discrimination is always with us.Sometimes discrimination is needed and imposed for reasons of safety; sometimes it is a matter of skill or physical ability; sadly, sometimes it is abused for reasons of power and control; and sometimes, fair or not, it is for no reason at all.

Will there be an equine massage therapist?

I predict Phoebe is not going to take this lying down. She’s either going to whine and gripe about not getting to go the whole time Marigold’s gone, only to find something to cope with it last second (I’m suddenly thinking of house-rules Parcheesi)…or Phoebe ends up going to the mythic land of CANADA too.

Phoebe can take in a hockey game while Marigold is at the spa.

Actually, you have that backwards: Planets usually do not seem to twinkle because they are brighter.

The stars only twinkle because of the atmosphere. In space, they do not twinkle.

I think what Mari’s trying to tell Phoebe is… that’s it’s an ADULT unicorn spa. :)
