Well, I’ve heard that in the case of your coffee, the keyboard melts.

Top rack of the dishwasher, but don’t let it go through the dry cycle, just the wash. let it sit upside down on a towel for 2 days to dry and wala. This really does work, have done it multiple times.

He did it on purpose. He just wanted an excuse to upgrade to a Razer Black Widow.

Wouldn’t you need a working keyboard for that?

Cyber Monday? I walked to the store and bought at the Cyber-Sale price. I don’t think I could try the dishwasher trick. Laptop, no separate keyboard.Adam eats his cold cereal with milk? I thought it was a snack food. No milk. Adam is trying to scam Laura.

In my 30 years of owning computers, I’ve only spilt liquid once on the key board. It was about 3 or 4 years ago and the key board was instantly history. No amount of cleaning or drying would revive it.

When my husband spilled pepsi into his laptop, I took out the battery, memory and hard drive and rinsed it under running water, then blew it out with canned air to get most of the water out and let it dry for two days. That was several years ago and it is still working.

I killed one laptop by dropping a screwdriver on it…It was the kind with vodka in it.
