Santa: Hello, little lady. How are you? Katy: More importantly, how are you? Santa: I'm...I'm good. Katy: Are you using hand sanitizer? Santa: Well, I...wear gloves. Katy: You might load up on vitamin C. Santa: I'll be fine. Katy: Children are petri dishes! Have a disinfectant wipe.

That is true. I very rarely become ill @ the age of 58 because I never joined the hand sanitizer craze nor the disinfect everything craze. (Hospitals need it, though). You must let your home ventilate whenever possible during nice weather, & even on sunny winter days, crack a window or two for an hour. Get plenty of mild exercise & fresh air, (I study tai chi & martial arts) & try to keep moving throughout the day. Eat well, but everything in moderation. Make decisions about your life & how to reduce stress, & you will increase your percentages of living to a healthy, ripe old age with an excellent quality of life. We have just one, make it count!

I had to let my children know early on that the Santa’s they see out and about aren’t the real thing. Although I could have sworn I saw the real Easter bunny in Y’all-mart.

My little cousin wrote a letter for Santa that she left with the cookies and the carrots for the reindeer. My favorite strongly urged him to make sure the reindeer had frequent rest breaks and weren’t overworked. The best part was when she suggested that he get more exercise and have Mrs. Claus start him on a low cholesterol diet.

We are less healthy in gerneal now, than we were 50 years ago. Ditch the anti-bacterial stuff and live in your own environment. We have internal bacteria which is beneficial.

Katy is just making sure Santa is well enough to survive Christmas Eve duties.
