Icy January? More like torrential rain here on the wet coast. Local hills could sure use some snow, skiing season got off to a late start, and now has stopped again for lack of snow (too warm for them to even use the snow making machines).

Got up to 15C today in Vancouver (60F) and dry. I saw a lady take her Husky to the local hockey rink to play in the “snow” the Zamboni had made!
