    It seems to me that Starbucks would not appreciate being ripped-off…ever hear about copyright infringement?

    It’s parody and falls squarely within fair use. No copyright infringement going on here at all. If there were any infringement, the Universal Uclick lawyers, assuming they actually passed the bar, would have shut it down a long time ago.

    Actually, a guy started a shop he called Charbucks, a reference to the charge that Starbucks over-roasts their coffee beans, and a court let him use it.

    @agrestic: As I recall, a small company sold pants for large figured women under the name of “Lardache”. The were sued by Jordache and won the right to use Lardache. I imagine the judge smiled a bit in his chambers, writing the judgement.

    Though indie’s posts look shorter than usual today, he’s proven himself to be an inveterate troll, and I’d suggest not feeding him, especially not with sugar.
