Filthy rodent, terrorist… you got that part right, Bucky! Normally I’m on Satch’s side, but in this case the fuzzy tailed tree rats are the bad guys and Buck is spot on (if a tad misguided as to weaponry to use). Throw the whole bag, you might stun one long enough to get run over.

Beats feeding the Internet trolls

Your squirrels are better behaved than ours, sizeofapea. They take their food and the bird’s food, too! LIttle pigs! :)

The squirrels serve a useful purpose at our bird feeders – the dogs would get no exercise at all without them. Score is squirrels 2309, dogs 0.

Darlin, they’ve got trees full of pecans and they still raid the feeders.

My dad used to mix pepper with the bird seed. The birds didn’t care (couldn’t taste it) but it kept the squirrels away.

A “squirrel-proof” feeder worked for me for about a decade, until one learned to jam himself upside down across the front and keep his feet off the treadle thingy. They didn’t last this long by being dummies, so the others rapidly caught on.

I have to agree with Bucky on this one

Squirrels are just rats with bushy tails and good PR.

I wonder what we are feeding the real terrorists…

Do you think if he feeds them – they will become his willing army?What AM I thinking!? They’re squirrels! They will eat the peanuts. Eat the seed in the bird feeder. Bury all the nuts. And then surround you in the park demanding you feed them! They are their own army!
