When my daugther was small she wasn’t sure about pills but I told her a neat trick while we where in the car, she graduate from liquid meds to pill form, and I told her where to put the pill and drink the water swallow fast for the pill would desolve real fast. She was amazed now show would never remember that as an adult.
My mom would dissolve an aspirin in a tablespoon of Dr. Pepper and then I’d just take the spoonful right down. But nowdays you aren’t supposed to give kids aspirin due to Reyes Syndrome.

Why do you call the lady “Gerdo,” ocean17? Wouldn’t it be just as easy to type “Gertie?”
—————————
Well Joe, I feel Gerdo is more expressive of the nature of the beast. Also, it goes well with his or her boyfriend’s name, Berdo. And of course it only has 5 letters. So, it’s a clear win all around!
Sometimes I miss NotNorman. Sure, he was repetitive and had an internal logic that vaporized when exposed to air, but he at least was clever. Sometimes I miss him. Usually I don’t, but …
Axe…..I’m behind you 100% !!! I really wish they would rid some on here and in return bring back NotNorman. He was clever in some of his sayings, and mainly only hated long story arcs. I do know you can report them though. I’m not the type to do that, but there “might” be someone that will.
Ocean17…..by any chance are you from Cuba? There is an employee where I work at, who is from Cuba, that he can’t say bench so he says “benchie” the same with lunch….he says lunchie. You saying a character in this strip is named Gerdo…which is Gertie. And Berdo which is Byrd….just wondering.

Good point, Susan…maybe Walt is taking it sublingually (under the tongue).
I doubt that’s the case here, but it’s a common way for medication to be administered to patients when quick absorption is desired.

Kab - what was your trick. I’d love to be able to teach my daughter to take pills, but it just aint happening. Nothing I’ve tried has worked so far.

She’s a toon, Joe. She’s not a person that you can be rude to.
However I’m a real person, and calling me a beast is rude and inflammatory. I suggest you watch your mouth.
