As far as my dog is concerned, fetch is the ultimate expression of love. So she’s sure no one is more loving that professional baseball pitchers. She’d rather play than be petted. In fact she’ll come up when I want to cuddle her, give me a carefully allotted time, and then run off for a toy going, “You got what you wanted, now it’s my turn!”

Labs live for fetch… when mine was younger it was the only way we could get him to settle down so we could do ANYTHING else.
