Frazz by Jef Mallett for February 17, 2015
Transcript:
Mrs. Olsen: I heard one of your songs at the pharmacy in the aisle. Frazz: OH, NO! Miss Plainwell: What was that all about? Piped-in music isn't the bad cover fest it used to be. Frazz: It was all about not wanting to hear which aisle. Girl: Preparation something. She leaves her tote bag open.

Why’s everyone so upset? She only rubs it under her eyes to reduce wrinkles…

I’ve never been in a store where the music (or Muzak) is different in different aisles.
And if it’s the same from every speaker, why would she share any information about her presumably embarrassing location in the store?
Not that she probably meant to…it’s just the rest of them assuming she wasn’t going to say “shampoo aisle,” because they just know she would use unmentionablely personal products..and mention them.

Frazz was being kind to Mrs Olsen’s nearby student. Staff members must maintain the myth that teachers do not have the normal bodily functions of other living organisms. It would make us appear almost human in their eyes.

Reminds me of a line from Dr. Evil in “Austin Powers” …
“I have created the successor to Preparation G. I shall call it … ‘Preparation … H’.”
