Meanwhile, MYnew Picture Book “Are You Sure You’re Doing That with the Right Hand?” is on sale at the DIY Launderette and Toaster Emporium, just a block down from The Stale Coffee Shop.Look for it under some old Leisure Learning catalogs near the wash powder dispenser.
Well my new picture book “You Pick It Up It’s Your Cat” is available down to the Feed Store and Birthday Nails, You can’t miss the store, just look for women picking hay off their newly painted nails,My book comes with both pop up, and fold out pages, And it’s “Scratch and Sniff” too!
Notre Dame took the night off to go bistro hopping with some little frogs. (Is “little frog” redundant?) This place will never be the Seine. -Today’s art is lovely, and it’s very nice to meet Shoshanah. Still, we can’t wait for Teresa to come back, going oui, oui, oui, all the way home.
If I’m not mistaken, aren’t a few of the frogs standing on the “shoulders” of other frogs? Teamwork, boys and girls! -Apparently, there is no designated name for female or male frogs. Frog offspring are normally referred to as tadpoles or polliwogs before they enter the next stage of metamorphosis. A large group of frogs is referred to as an army.--In French, frogs say: coa-coa -Some frog audio clips here.
If Teresa loves you, Shoshanah, I love you too. I like the look of the little guy (Is he French?) in the upper left corner. He has a high forehead and a little bit of horseshoe hair above his ear. Glasses always make characters funnier. Shoshanah? I’ve never heard that name before. What is its origin? Does it have a meaning? (I think I’ll look it up.)
Shoshanah \sh(o)-sha-nah\ as a girl’s name is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Shoshanah is “lily, rose”. Shoshanah is a variant of Susan (Hebrew): short form of Susanna and Susannah.
I find that being a heterosexual male nowhere’s near France to be paramount in “Avoiding Sex with Frenchmen” (I know I’m treading on a thin line being close to Louisiana, but the first part of my statement still holds true).Forthwith:FISHNET FRIDAY for March 27th, 2015
While not all HTML tags will work within the context of the comments, many will. They may be found at w3schools dot com, a free web programming resource.Searching for “html text codes” should find it.Some things work.
My last tome “Righty, Lucy?” was doomed by the over water solubility of it’s paper and the bad combination of outdoor display racks at times of heavy sea fog.
@flyingflowerpot :Stop smiling. It makes you look approachable.A comment that opens with HTML tags automatically cuts out the possibility of open responses, to put it in the context of the present “esprit de croquette”.
@ flyingflowerpot’You’re doing better than me; I’ve taken typing classes, yet still do it with three fingers at best.AND I have to watch the keyboard lest I break SpellCheck with all the mistakes. No need to apologize.Gabba, gabba,we accept, we accept you,One of Us!!!
@meh`todologyOMG. I’m so embarrassed for thinking she was a pron (sic) artist. She’s new, I see; this is only her second or third editorial cartoon. I would have eventually found her since I read more editorial cartoons than stuff on the regular comics side. Thanks for the link. I bet you typed that link correctly the first time.
The other day someone asked for an explanation of our GoComics user names.
I saw an old movie (with Sophia Loren?) and she threw flowerpots whenever she got angry. Pots were flying everywhere! No one was hurt, but I liked the idea of being a women so passionately enraged that I regularly threw flowerpots, vases, and wine glasses across a room. Naturally, they would smash against a fireplace mantle or hit the brooding portrait of some white guy right between the eyes. Has anyone ever had someone throw something at them? If so, what? (I hope no one was hurt. That’s not funny.)
It’s a short leap from Sophia Loren (mentioned in the post I hope is still the one just above me) to Loren Eiseley:The Dance of the Frogs which goes with today’s comic.
@Sisyphos :I thought sure that was going to be,Bow Wow Wow – Sexy Eiffel Tower(McLaren was obscessed. I bet he knew: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=eiffel+tower )

I am rendered speechless by the lack of a tower from which to view my dark domain.

If they can do this every night – beret the tower in a “trou noir”, then, my hat’s off to them.

Then, we should steel ourselves for this darkness?

To cover their nefarious nightly deeds the frogs put up a cardboard cut-out version AND light it up on the hour; had me fooled just last night too.
