What can you expect in a world where half the people fall below median intelligence?

I once had a rubber exhaust pipe extender on my car (so I could work on and run the engine in a closed garage during the winter). I forgot to remove it when I left to run an errand and had this black snaky thing dragging behind me! Fortunately, I only got 1/2 mile before seeing it in the rear-view mirror and got it put in the trunk. Sometimes, the stupid bug bites us all.

Actually SEEN that before .. no joke. That’s why the hoses are ‘break-away’.

More like not a choice. There’s actually a big difference when you think about it (smartly).

Unlike Ron White’s take on it, you can fix stupid. But it’s like using a dictionary: Only works when you realize you have a problem. And as to bumper stickers, I’m reminded of one I saw that read, “If you don’t like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk!” When I saw that particular sticker, it was on a car parked with two wheels up on the sidewalk — in front of a traffic court!!

True story: around 1985, I went to a full-serve gas pump, for the first time in ages. The attendant left the nozzle in the fill tube. I trying to make a sharp turn away from the pump, it got wedged. A few feet later, I noticed I was being followed by a flaming gas pump. I had to work to pull it off my vehicle, but got clear. I had to wait until the fire department put the fire out to retrieve my gas cap. Don’t do full-serve anymore.
