Tracy’s fed up! Classic!

Never mind “keeping up with the Joneses,” Tracy is “fed up with the Jones family,” as well he should be. Their car should be easy to spot, but right now it’s indoors where it can’t be seen. I can see a chase coming on!

Good morning my friends. It’s good to see that Tracy has had more than enough out of the Jones family. I believe that the storyline will bring us more surprises. Y’all have a prosperous day.

Not much of the Jones family left to do the threatening now.

Odd that we seemed collectively to be in greater suspense over whether or not Stiletta bought the farm than if Vitamin has, but admittedly this is the second or third rise on the roller coaster at this point.

In the third panel of yesterday’s strip, It looks like a bullet or two may have hit Vitamin in the left shoulder but he’s probably been hit multiple times. I hope the old fellow’s okay.

Avenger, I gotta hand it to you, Amigo, that was a good one! Welcome back, we missed you!

I predict Vitamin will survive. He’s just too much a mainstay for the Dick Tracy Universe to get rid of him. And when Tracy finds out that the Nitrates almost did him in, Tracy will be hopping mad!

Good to see Tracy reacting to the news. And another police unit’s on the scene, so they can go after the Nitrates.Tracy won’t be too forgiving to them after shooting part of his extended family.I think Vitamin will survive, but I don’t know about Kandikane.-The Nitrates must not have had any handguns with them, as they were going to use the second air horn machine gun on Vitamin and Kandikane.

Neil Wick and Starman1948: Not sure how many else may feel this way, but I, for one, have also had about enough of the Jones family. Classic as the Flattop family has been, it is time to move on..I still love how Mike really pulled a fast one on us – I don’t really think any of us expected Stiletta to have been done in – let alone, done in by the Sprockets!.In the meantime, looks like the Nitrates are moving up the food chain a bit themselves: No longer just two-bit con artists, they are now pretty much cold-blooded killers. But I wonder: Why the sam hill did they want to kill Vitamin and Kandi Kane? Doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me..Last, and certainly least: Am I the only one to notice? The last two weeks of Dick Tracy have had more action and suspense than perhaps the last two years?.A tip of the hat to Avenger09, who appears to have shed much of his under-the-bridge reputation!.How about a good old fashioned Pigs on Wheels for us?

Tracy is fed up with the Joneses? Wait until he shortly finds his longtime friend Vitamin Flintheart wounded or dead at the hands of the Nitrates!

So enraged he may become, that Tracy will personally feed Silver And Sprocket to Lena Hyena, after he has “tuned them up” a bit. Maybe if either survives (ha!) there will be a “police brutality” enquiry…. Grim is the word of the day.

Cheapskate, I’ll agree with you. Avenger09 looks to have graduated from the “Under-the-Bridge” gang to respectability. His poetry is getting to where he has picked up the beat much better! He’s getting so good that we all might have a up-and-coming Rap artist amongst us! GO, AV! YOU DA MAN!

I miss Margueritem…… has anyone been in touch with her? Gweedo. have you? I am also fuzzy about why she left. Does anyone know?

Man, oh man you are a poet and that was is real darn good avenger09 … and isn’t this story an eye opener exciting and good … or is it putting you … as you like to say ZZZzzz ?… lol

The question Gweedo is if she likes goats milk! LOL!

Flattop was a good villain, but he was no Rastapopoulos. As Tintin’s arch enemy, Ratapopoulos was a criminal mastermind, a Professor Moriarty to Tintin’s Sherlock Holmes. Cunning, clever, and ruthless, Rastapopoulos showed up when you least expected him. In contrast, Flattop was just a hired thug paid to rub out Dick Tracy, and when that fell through, spent the rest of the arc trying to get the heck out of town, eventually leading to his demise. Arguably, it was Flattop’s own stupidity that killed him.____________________

Much of Flattop’s appeal is the brilliant visual.

I hated it when Groovy was killed off. He was always a favorite supporting character for me. He wasn’t on panel as much in the later years (the 1980’s), but…
