Mooching will go badly for you Sophie. Little Doug could have easily tickled you for that attempt on his food.

I for one would like to see an example of Sophie’s sharing skills. I doubt they are much better!

“Sharing” isn’t so much a skill to be mastered (or not) as an inclination to be observed (or not). The hardest part of sharing is simply making the mind up to do so.

Darth Toon; if the powers of the Force are wielded by a Sith Lord rather than a Jedi Knight, are they still referred to as “Jedi powers”? (I don’t know, I’m asking.)

i believe they are then referred to as “going to the dark side” using your Jedi powers for bad, and allowing fear, hate and pain take over. In such ways as what happened to Senator Palpatine becomes Darth Sidious, and Count Dooku becomes apprentice to Sidious,, gets killed and Then our favorite Anakin grows up and becomes,, Darth Vader,,,

But the Sith and the Jedi are two opposed sides of wielders of the Force, are they not? Opposite, but still equal. That the Jedi would see the Sith as a “corruption” of themselves rather than a mirror image is understandable, but not necessarily an accurate assessment. Conceivably, an acolyte who had been trained from the outset in the Ways of the Sith could likewise “go to the light side.”

The prophecy (as I recall) was that Anakin (or someone of Anakin’s line) would be the one to bring “balance” to the Force; the inference being that having Jedi but no Sith (the situation at the beginning of “Phantom Menace”) would be just as “imbalanced” as having Sith but no Jedi (the situation at the beginning of “Star Wars”). That’s one of the reasons (besides my age) that I always found Luke’s story more compelling than Vader’s; Luke seemed on the path towards having his positives and negatives in equal balance, which perhaps would not have been too comforting a thought for either the Jedi OR the Sith.

Of course, this all may have been explained (or explained away) in parts of the saga that I haven’t paid any attention to…
