No, male Nurses don’t usually get paid more than there female counterparts. It’s generally based on the educational degree you graduated with, your longevity at the work place and frequently the department you work in. Males frequently gravitate to Emergency, Critical Care and Operating Room nursing which pays a bit better. I worked in hospitals for over 40 years.

men still tend to be promoted more quickly than women in the field of nursing. leading to higher pay

I had 2 male nurses while in the hospital for a month. They responded faster than the female nurses or the CNA’s when I needed help.
