Douglas tried to turn it into cardiovascular exercise by fretting over whether each ball would make it into the bucket…

He figured worrying so hard would make his heart pound, and he’d work up a sweat.

Alas…. he couldn’t do it…cos not only was it as easy as…well, say… dropping balls into a bucket…He just didn’t care.

In spite of doctor’s orders, Douglas is simply not athletic.Douglas prefers a life of quiet mystery.

Monkey…I’m sorry I’ve been a bit less visible for a week or so…but I’m here!A lot has been going on out at the Western end of Ballard County….taking my time, and making me fall asleep in a back booth during my shift at the Tiki.

But don’t worry…or the rest of you, either….my salon is open…the tomatoes are being canned…and the bakery and pie shop are both operating full speed.

Fenton and the rest of the staff do a great job…and… yes… you too, little monkeys…I was just about to say it.

The little monkeys are always here on Tuesday and Thursday nights, along with the Fireman on Thursdays.I’m bringing in 123 key lime pies tonight…plus 47 apple, and lots more…. so you can order a Yak ’N Dak ’N Pie any time of day or night.

Life on Ballard St is good.

Mentioning people who are “banned” won’t get you banned.I’ve been posting about Dogsniff, and I’m not banned.(Well, as far as I can tell!… LOL)You have to do something yourself, that a few people flag,then the mods have to decide it’s not OK…and hopefully, you haven’t done anything flaggable lately.But if you ever do such a thing, and you think you might be banished…just log out, and look at your profile or at a forum where you know you posted.When you’re logged in, as you know, you see yourself …even if you’ve been made invisible to everyone else…but if you’re logged out, you won’t.

Good morning everyone. Chilly and breezy here this morning. Douglas would get more exercise by getting on his hands and knees,to track down errant ballz, that miss the bucket. :) Peace.

As long as Douglas doesn’t kick the bucket, I suppose what he is doing won’t hurt.Perhaps he should make a bucket list instead.

Hi Bev, Susan and 2Old and StellesBella. I see that the archivists of Ballard Street are right up to date on activities, cardiovascular or otherwise. It is always good to keep up on things.

I should think it very much depends on one’s position relative to the bucket.
