Arlo and Janis by Jimmy Johnson for June 07, 2015
Transcript:
Arlo: Did you sand that first? You should have primed it! The first coat needs to be thinned! Arlo: A foam roller would be best for that! Is that paint oil-based or latex? Arlo: Do you know what kind of paint you're using? Janis: Blue. Janis: You know, you're the one who complains that he can't seem to get much done!

Go mow the lawn, Arlo.

He’s probably lucky she only put paint on his nose and not up it. Go away and let the woman work. Foster is right – go mow the lawn.

A good paint job is 85% prep; Arlo knows he’ll be repainting it when it peels………

stripping paint is a much bigger job than prep work is. It really is better to get it right the first time

If somebody else want’s to do the work, I’m good with that. If they have to do it over again, I don’t care either….Gives ’em something to do it…

A friend realized that in the Bible, Methuselah lived until the days of the flood and was Noah’s grandfather. .Whenever he did anything, his grandfather sat and told him how he SHOULD be doing it..Therefore, he pictured Noah’s grandfather sitting for 120 years telling him how he was building the Ark wrong, or too slow or too fast, or wrong wood, or wrong tool…….Job gets credit for patience, but he wasn’t the only one.
