used to be called a TV table. Made for eating a meal while watching television. Popular around 1960.

“One man’s trash…” She is so excited about her find that she put a shine on it by renaming it. Like when I say I will take the white bread, and the employee says, “do you mean the Crusty Country Homestyle Loaf?”

if we tired to set up that table and sit in a chair in my yard, the chair would sink all the way down due to excessive rain in North Texas. We got 2 inches in my back yard but 4 at the local airport and I think they said 6 inches at DFW.

But note that he plays along, because it makes her happy. That makes it priceless.

We have a complete set of 4 wooden tv trays, I use them when we cook out to set incidentals on when cooking.

Our thoughts go out to all those getting flooding under the deluge of rain.

Did you notice that they’re holding their tiny plates? Janis’s is on her lap, actually. No room for them on the table!

Lake Texoma is at historic level. 45 ft above flood stage, the last I heard. See videos of flooding there and in the rest of TX on youtube.

@JhonJuan—-Yes. Evidently readers did not comprehend she was only talking about the TABLE & not the chairs, although maybe she got them as a set.

http://www.kxii.com/home/headlines/Lake-Texoma-reaches-record-elevation-305460771.htmlI think 600 ft is the normal pool depth of the lake, so 645 is 45 feet above. It’s flowing over the spillway; people have come to see and take videos on the Oklahoma side.
