Joe, I am a person that usually sticks up for you, but as an adult there is nothing wrong with me adding rum to my smoothie. As far as there being young folk here, they are exposed to real life all day long. I enjoy adding rum to a smoothie. It makes it an adult beverage, but it is still a pretty healthy drink. Everything is black and white with you and that is okay. Be as you wish, but look to be addressed if you put down a comment someone else makes. You say anti Joe, I say don’t demean my comment and I will not have to call you on it.

* Joe you missed the point once again. gocomics has a variety of different types of comics and a variety of different people who comment. You are going to find a number of people who are different from you. We are good people, making comments that are going to cover a vast spectrum of topics and ideas. Andy Capp is not in a pseudo- adult magazine. It is on gocomics. Why should my comment on rum stir you up so much when anyone reading these cartoons has access to all of gocomics collection? You are entitled to your opinion and so am I. Lay off. Comics are comics, read those you like, ignore the rest. Comments are comments, read those you like, ignore the rest.

Joe I think your intentions are good and you are honorable but you are a bit out of touch with the real world. Saying you want rum in a smoothie is not advocating teen alcoholism … it’s a playful remark and makes me laugh.

Oh I just meant like Hank Hill because Hank’s so uptight and conforms to rules so tightly that he misses the big picture from time to time…. But he’s still intelligent and means well.
