Not a summer goes by that I don’t think of the time I was working in the front yard, and the little girl across the street had a lemonade stand and looked over at me expectantly. I was too lazy to go in the house for money. It would have meant a lot to her. She’s a big girl, now, and I still have to resist the urge to apologize to her.
I have always hated the taste of lemons so this stands mean NOTHING to me.And the idea that thugs with badges actually do this only makes them seem even more repugnant.

Back around 1970-ish, my brother and I had a lemonade stand. We used his Lite-Bright to be a neon sign (since they had a “Lemonade” template).
