Early morning greetings to all East Coat readers/commenters.And late night greetings to all West Coast readers/commenters.-——-NOTE TO ALL: Most times I will be posting later in the day. and I have changed my avatar (yes, that’s really a recent photo of me) and expanded my name (Ronnie ‘Starman1948’ Thompson).-——-Have a prosperous day my friends.
JustOlJon said, ages and ages ago@SallyLinSally, did you get your iPad issue fixed? If not, I left a comment on yesterday’s Ten Cats on how to get rid of that app you don’t like.
Thanks, Jon. I had done that first thing, but the format change to YouTube remained. Sigh. I’m getting used to it.
Thanks for all the nice comments yesterday to my pics and post. I apologize for only getting on once a day to check. I think I forgot to identify the front kitten as my Tabby in the picture I posted yesterday.
Funny cat on leash pics!!!! Years ago I used to put Kristen in a small dog halter with leash and walk her outside to just a few houses away. She liked the novelty of being outside but eventually a dog would approach and that was the end of that!!!! Kris was a BIG girl and fit nicely in the harness, unlike her sister, Dale, who was smaller and quite trim.
I brought the late, great Babe outside on a leash – started when I still lived in Boston. It was quite a busy area and she liked to try to chase all the male cats into the next county. When I moved to the UK I kept it up, but eventually I got to where I put it on, but let it trail behind her, just in case (we have a big backyard). She only went out when I went out. And she sure would complain when she had to go back in!
While shopping today i got a chance to see a Dodge Minivan with a side door conversion. It is plenty big enough to take a client in a full size chair. A little tight getting in for one of my clients, but still doable. I would have to temporally remove his head rest. The width is better than it looks from a distance. All i need now is the money to buy one.I have not been looking in daily to see how many visits I’ve recived. If the number is low, i get discouraged. No one os looking. If the number is high, i get discouraged. No one cares.
When we moved here and lost Spuds a year later, we adopted Molly and Casper. I thought this would be a great time to try a leash on those two. The others we brought from San Diego wanted no part of a leash. It didn’t take long for the cats to outwit 2 fairly intelligent adults concerning the harness and leash. It got tossed into a drawer and eventually to the thrift store bag.
Just got Pam’s (Puppyface) card ready to put in the mail tomorrow. I wonder what the people at St. Paul center are going to think when all our cards start coming in! It’s going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!! >^..^<
Thanks so much for the first hand update. I was especially pleased about the comment regarding being able to use her legs again. I truly DO know that feeling.
About 3 months after my second knee was done, I was standing outside of the theater waiting for them to unlock the doors. I told Brad that before the 2 surgeries, I would NEVER have been able to stand there for more than about 30 seconds.
I remembered this morning in time to get a card ready and out for the mailman to pick up. I hope she is continuing to wow the therapists. And thank you for being a good friend.

Mine is at the post office. I think mail is picked up at 3PM. Then the covered wagon takes it to Salt Lake City.

Having a cat on a leash can be VERY relaxing! For both cat and humans.

Big Man and Bucky are only allowed out during the day after 9am. Our street gets busy during the rush hour. They spend the night inside – a lot safer.
