I’ve noticed that with clocks, just before the minute hand jumps ahead it takes a half click back, and then jumps ahead. I don’t know why it happens, I just know I’ve seen it.
It can Vary. One place I worked, the First day I was there, I arrived about 15 minutes early for “Orientation” and Paperwork. People were having coffee, chatting and socializing until time to start working.About 4 minutes before time to start, one of the women climbed up on the desk under the wall clock and turned it Back an hour.Everyone else just continued to socialize.About an hour later, as the 5 minute mark approached again, the SAME woman climbed up on the desk again and, this time, she set the clock back to the Correct Time. She climbed down and everyone went to their desks and began the work day..But, if the Boss had wandered in during that Hour, well Sorry Boss. The clock must be Broken.Again?.
My grandfather’s clock was the best ever made by the Ti-mex com-pany. Just like the clock John Cameron Swayze displayed last night on the old TV. Oh, it works under water so perfectly. And it still makes a ticking sound. Which my grandfather tried only this after-noon. And that’s how the old man drowned.

So you’re saying the clock still makes a ticking sound and your grandfather stopped ticking?

I vote we get rid of Mondays, add 12 hours to Saturday and 12 to sundays
