“The big break” Lee mentions must have been when she received confirmation that the Blackhearts were in possession of the stolen gold (August 3 strip):Lee must have reported to Tracy & crew that the gold was on the premises. She probably let them know, too, that the gold was being moved that night. Knowing they had a tight window to recover the gold, the police and FBI immediately got a search warrant and began their raid the same day.

I forgot that Lee knew the gold was there. So if it hasn’t been moved, I guess Bribery will need to get his funds elsewhere…

If you use width=350 it will stay (more or less) with the margins of the existing text. You can get away with 360 and still stay (barely) within the box, but you lose the right margin.

The presence of the gold was the key to taking down the Black Heart organization.

The mayor send word some time back that they were to drop everything else and concentrate on getting that gold back, so the gold was the key to everything. The Blackhearts have essentially been eliminated from Tracy’s city and the gold heist was their undoing.

Tracy’s body armor somehow looks like a barbecue apron. C’mon Fritz Ann…….. get well so you can hit on Sam some more!

Great way to effectively write off Lee Ebony in any sort of future role in the strip. she cant take part in any police action because if bribery or any of the gang sees her they will instantly know that she was a mole (not “THE MOLE ) and more than likely try to kill her.

so now what does she do? stay undercover for the rest of her life, apparently. Blackjack, Abner, Mumbles, Doubleup, Blaze, BB Eyes, Bigg…they ALL know what t-bolt looks like and she sure to heck cant go to the movies or the mall to relax…nope, effective right now the character of “LEE EBONY” is dead…add her to the list of mike’s casualties

B – B Eyes – LIKE ‘FLIES’

Anyone that cares to pay ‘close attention’ might quickly realize that B – B Eyes and Doubleup have enjoyed the MOST Face Exposure among the Rogues in (modern) Dick Tracy, under the pens of Curtis and Staton !<P?Both were launched (or re-launched) in mid 2011, and after these stories (out on bail) were quickly absorbed into organised crime with New Mr, Crime (Davey Mylar).

From there to the Apparatus and then recycled into the Blackhearts. These platforms allowed multiple appearances in the modern strip.Both have been PROMINENT Characters in every year save 2014, where the appearance (i.e. October) was minimal, actually only B – B Eyes !

B – B Eyes in particular, enjoyed ELEVEN separate earlier sequences On Stage here. prior to the current 2015 – Bribery extravaganza, which I’ve ‘counted to begin from Sunday, March 22nd.
