“Different standards” indeed. This young man needs to change his to match that of his employer or he won’t be employed there very long, paid or unpaid.
And when he’s unemployed again (soon) it’ll all be “the Man’s” fault. Then he’ll agitate for the government to force a pay raise for the crappy job he can keep with that attitude. (If he can keep one at all.)
