Well, I seem to have lost my mind…anybody seen it?But I don’t know anybody like x_Tech is talking about…..that’s my story and I’m sticking to it…if I can …. um… find it…
… now where would I put my story…..
It’s around here someplace….probably with my keys….
A few weeks ago I took my car in cos I had to add a small amount of coolant every week or two…nothing much, a pint or so…..
The car is old; the mechanic and I both figured I had a cracked hose…. No big. $20-30 cos they’re good to me in that shop.Turned out the location of the drip was “probably” a tiny crack in the radiator, instead…he said they’d patch it.Well, of course, the leak was actually in a seam, so they couldn’t….and my mechanic said it could suddenly get much bigger…
So my $20 leaky hose, in less than an hour, turned into a brand new $450 radiator….
for a 1998 station wagon with 150-ish thousand miles on it…But what can you do?It runs great and I can’t buy a newer car…so I put an expensive band-aid on this one.
Bev…. from yesterday… I know you can’t stay up for the new time.
I was saying I wanted the comics to go back to posting earlier, so you’d still be awake to get Tony’s question, and save my poor feet.California is farther from Tony…. I think.
I apparently have the largest “really good place” in the world. Everything I put there disappears. It’s just gotten to the point that I can’t remember what I have lost, so it must not have been important.
When I was younger, I saw an older man I knew walking around in circles sweeping the grass and weeds with his foot. Being naturally inquisitive (nosey) I asked him what he was doing. “I lost my pocket knife” he told me. So being the problem solver that I am, I tried to help, so I asked “Where did you lose it ?”He stopped, turned and looked at me disdainfully and said " If I knew that, it wouldn’t be lost, now would it? " When you are a child, many of life’s wisdoms are taught by the ancient ones.

My kids were notorious for leaving jackets at the track after practice. Usually, we got them back.

Like Susan, I’ve lost my mind. The last time I saw it, the cat had retrieved it from under the bed and was batting it around the house.

When I do lose stuff, Saint Anthony helps me find it. Laugh if you want, but I ask him to help me find the article, and it always turns up.
RE: bev, from last night, yes the “banee” can see their own comments but no one else can.
