Being NOT called is not something to complain about.

My husband and I were the same way in Orange and Riverside Counties, CA. He got called multiple times (and served almost every time – once for 3 months!) and I never did. Once we got to San Bernardino County, we both got called.

That was us too. My husband so wanted to get jury duty and I did not. I was the one who was called every year for a few years and he never was. If I had known, I would have told him to watch Law and Order.

I received a summons for jury duty a couple of years ago for the Hillsboro County court. The next day I received a jury summons from the state court in Concord…both with the same reporting date. Fortunately I received notification that both cases were settled out of court and I was released.

Many years ago, I received a call to serve on jury duty. I was briefly interviewed and when they learned I was a business owner, I was excused.

    Never received another call…

In Norfolk, VA, it’s your reward for voting. I last got a notice 5 years ago. Probably won’t be long now.
