He obviously did hear one word. That’s not a bad average.

Call me manipulative, but I do that to my DH, but he takes longer than Arlo. I mention something, it rattles around in his brain, and then it’s his idea. Works for me. Worked for my MIL.

Whenever I do that, my wife says, “these are not the droids you seek.”

There is a type of gutter topper that has screening to prevent pine needles from getting into gutters. What we need is something that will prevent acorns from rolling into the gutters, before we have a roof full of oak trees.

I can’t put a finger on what it is about “Arlo & Janis” that so captivates me …. but it does, Thanks Jimmy

Kind of like cramming for an exam; read for the keywords.

My husband does this, he thinks he came up with the idea himself.

After a week of “what he hears” jokes on Red and Rover we can deduce that Arlo has poorer hearing acuity than Rover.

Arlo has selective hearing. If Janis would have been talking about a roll in the hay he would have heard every word.

Janis knows it’ll get done more quickly if he thinks it was HIS idea.
