I have grown a few beards in my life, the last time my wife said we will be going to a marriage counselor if it happened again. So no Movember for me.

I grew a beard when I was 28 because I was too lazy to shave every day, 36 years later I still am.

I start in November and shave it off when the last snow falls. Keeps my face warmer when I’m plowing snow, skiing, or snow shoeing.

Last time I had a beard, was in church in the aisle during greeting time, and preacher said someone said I looked like an old goat. I stopped and loudly said, “I do no-o-o-o-o-o-t” (like a goat bleating). Preacher laughed so hard he could hadly deliver the sermon.

<<<As you can see by my photo to the left, I have a full head of hair and no beard growth. If you examine closely, you will note, except for my sideburns, there are very few gray hairs on the top of my head.

For some strange reason, they seem to concentrate in my facial hair, so I shave them off frequently…
