I knew it had to be ”Star Wars” related. Most Trekkies have seen the original series blooper reel. ”Star Wars” out takes? That’s a whole ‘nother Bantha!

Yeah, and there’s a bunch of mistakes that stayed in the movie, too.

runar The mistake was doing the ”Prequels” and pretending that the first three movies were made after them.

Actually, the raw footage, before the special effects are added ,are pretty funny. The Stormtroopers fire cap guns and Darth Vader sounds an awful lot like Dark Helmet

At least it’s not the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I have an old VHS tape titled “The Wizard of Space and Time”. In the background of one scene is a movie theater advertising “Star Wars”. I believe the theater is Manns Chinese theater.

dakrebs1: I loved the WoS+T short! Do you have that, or the not-as-great full length film based on the short?

LynnMS: By any chance are you two referring to “Wizard of SPEED and Time”, by Mike Jittlov? The short was in ‘79 and the movie (Mike did both) around ‘88 or so. I have seen them available for download on the internet, but have no idea if they are now in the public domain.

LynmMS and Ushindi….I believe Mike Jittlov had a problem with the contract so he’s happy if people can get it for free. I got the soundtrack autographed by him and the composer.

Well, guys, I’ve heard, and of course I have no idea myself, but they both may be possibly available, or so the rumors go, at a BitTorrent site such as oh, maybe Demonoid. I heard that once, anyway. No firsthand knowledge here…
