Adam’s friends are going to milk this for all it’s worth! As for you, davidblack-lash, Brain and Rob put a lot of work in giving us our daily laughs like from both Adam@Home (Harrel) and Red and Rover (Basset). What we don’t need is the likes of you soiling up the boards with remarks like that!

Adam’s story is no bull!

I’m not familiar with davidblack so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but Adam is my favorite comic and just lobbing insults with nothing to back it up qualifies him as a troll.

This comic is gentle and fun and loving. The people care about each other. if you want snarky, sarcastic stuff read non sequitur or doonesbury.

They’re too condescending for my tastes but you may like them from the tone of your note.

It does seem that we are doomed if we do and doomed if we don’t challenge these common decency deprived Vogons among us.

If we don’t, they “get away” with massively stupid and monstrously uncivil behavior.

If we do challenge, then they “score” points on every one of our replies.

It’s hard to tell which outcome gives them more jollies.

I for one am addicted to replying most of the time.

Is davidblack responsible for the “idiots” tag?

Replying to trolls (or is it Vogons, as poohbear suggests?) is almost addicting. I just try to not let it take over my enjoyment of the cartoons.

Those who forget to copy stupid comments and paste them locally before they are deleted, are doomed to forget them, (but thankfully not to repeat them) and somehow I’ve forgotten what davidblack said now that his comment has been deleted.

Kinda underlines how stupid the comment must have been.

Happily didn’t see the nasty comment,, but for myself I like a mix of gentle and caustic; hence follow this and Red and Doonesbury and Non Sequitur and others. Such variety in the comics world. (Now, isn’t that more than anyone wanted to know about my opinion? ;) )

I missed this important information. Now, from the perspective of the year 2024, Adam’s character makes so much more sense. You’re not going to get kicked in the head by a cow without some brain damage. :)
