My daughter prefers shorter hair. After she had just gotten a haircut I went to the deli counter where she works, she had her back to me. I said, “Oh sir, sir, can you please help me sir?” Without turning from what she was doing she said, “Be right there Ma’am.” I had never been more proud.

Had my hair cut real short, bout 20 years ago. We were looking at pictures last week ,, I didn’t recognize the “man” in the back . It was ME. Oh how bad I looked then. My hair has never been shorter than the shoulders again.

Looks like Jerry is holding a beer while Burl is…..?

Anything that brings more of that ugly mug into view is to be avoided.

My hair was almost to my waist when my mother decided to cut it into a pixie cut like my twin cousin’s hair. It has never grown that length again and takes forever :( 60 years old and it’s a bit above my waist finally!

For once, just once, I find myself agreeing with Burl.

My hair has just enough curl/wave that keeping it short is the only way to have some kind of control over where it goes.

The only thing I can say is that very few women of a certain age can carry that look.
