the outdoor visitors would stand 6 feet apart, except for the ones from the same household…. and wear masks.
They won’t walk up to the window… or get any of the cake Marlene made for Dale.
Somehow there isn’t as much humor in this situation or as much sympathy for “poor Dale” as we had in 2009…
now that our own rules are even more strict.
My own birthday, last month, in fact, was celebrated entirely on GoComics, starting at the turn the night before, and in a couple of phone calls on the day….
it was just fine, and Covid-free.
Of course, I’m speaking for those of us still following those guidelines…
I know some people want them eased, or even choose to flout them…
But as a senior with other health issues I’m staying well over six feet from Dale.
Come to think of it, I’ve been staying as far from any of this whole crew as possible for years….
Wow. A prophetic installment of sorts of this strip. Inadvertently encouraging social distancing. Of course there are few who would inspire others to do so as well as this lot does.
