Sad, but probably true. Some of the best times I had growing up was the road trip. Six of us in a station wagon, camping and seeing our beautiful country.
Many years ago I tried to watch TV during a car trip with a small TV that plugged into the cigarette lighter and had a built-in VCR. I watched a movie on tape. It took me hours to recover from severe motion sickness. I don’t know how anyone can watch screens during a car ride.

Reading the ‘to do’ list, makes me wonder why you’d need a binocular for things to do in the hotel.

I wonder why the letters MD are only in the 2nd panel.

There are lots of important things to do while traveling… for example, if going to Florida, you could count Waffle Houses and/or McDonald’s…!

One trip from Florida to Texas, the youngest watched “Brave Little Toaster” dozens of times. His brothers were ready to throw him out the window.

I always read a book on car trips. For a long trip I would bring a whole stack of books.
