My bank has new “MY-TM” machines. You can do anything from opening an account to applying for a loan, deposit money (Without an envelope- it scans checks and counts bills,) to withdrawing up to $5,000. You don’t even need a card, just your account details. And I’m always stuck behind the guy trying to take out a mortgage!
Years ago I almost fainted when an ATM told me there were insufficient funds, since I knew I had more than I wanted to take out. I eventually figured out it really was the bank with the insufficient funds to give! Now, I refuse to use an ATM. Banks are pretty empty. I go in when needed, which isn’t very often. When I was working I had no time to go into a bank, but now I can. I remember old days pre-ATM and banks being all crowded on Friday afternoons.
