I still can’t abandon a bad book half way through…or even 30 pages in. It is a curse begun by the nuns drumming into our brains to finish whatever we had begun!

There are so many books available. Years ago I taught myself that if I didn’t like what I was reading by a third or so into the pages then quit and read something else

When she was a young woman banana’s were 25 cents a bunch. That would make throwing out a 59 cent banana very difficult!
