My Cat Shellie loves to hear me hum songs. Play them on my flute, banjos, or bagpipes…not so much. However music is a language all creatures like & understand.

Good morning, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day. We were wonderfully spoiled by Paul’s family.

In case anyone missed my post last night, i received a very good donation to my campaign.Woo Hoo!The other nice gift i received was a gap in the weather.The rain stopped before my client finished breakfast and the sun came out!Woo Hoo!We got to go to the park at the beach. That was a great gift for him as well.With all the rain we have been getting, he has been geting a bit of cabin fever.

Woof loves Annie

Woof is a cat – just assume he wants a snack too. Annie is so precious.

Apropos of nothing…Preheat oven to 300º1Cup Sugar1/2 Cup Butter2 Eggs1 Teaspoon Vanilla1 and 2/3 Cup Flour1 Teaspoon Baking Soda1/2 Teaspoon Salt1 Cup Banana, Mashed1/2 Cup Walnuts 2 Tablespoons Sour Cream or Plain Yogurt Optional, Cinnamon and/or Nutmeg (to taste) Sift together flower, baking soda, salt and spices if you are adding them.Cream together the sugar and butter.Beat the eggs, vanilla, sour cream (or yogurt) and banana into the creamed sugar and butter.Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and blend until fully incorporated. Poor into loaf pans.Bake for 1 Hour. Check with toothpick to see if finished.Instead of using butter and flower on the cake pans, use butter and sugar. The loaves will come out of the pan feeling wet but will lose some of the sticky after air drying about an hour.Works with full sized and mini loaf pans.Recipe can be doubled.

Dear Graham, thank you for creating this wonderful strip. Woof looks as if he needs to take a trip down the ‘chibney’ like Oliver did not so long ago. Annie is prettier than ever too.

What a sweet strip to come home to after a chaotic holiday with the relative’s little kids screaming and whining and crying for hours. Poor Freddog wanted nothing to do with them, and he usually likes kids. Sigh, I really, really love living alone in this tiny quiet little town…

Woof must be as sweet as our Little Oliver! Yes he is!

I love Annie in the first frame, she looks so cute.

Stopped at Petco today to see if the cat toys were on sale. The outfits were 75% off, the toys were only half off. I got some toys but will clean them out in about 3 weeks when they are on clearance. The foster kittens that come thru here destroy the mousies with their razor claws and little teeth.

I bought 3 “outfits”. Moose will be modeling them in the next few days. Once I get all of the pictures I want, I think I will give them to the woman who takes the shelter animals pictures for facebook. She always dresses up the dogs with hats and bandanas but doesn’t have much for the kitties.

I got antlers, a neck tie, a snowman bowler hat and elf ears.
