There are 10 kinds of people in this world… those who understand binary, and those who don’t.

    44 + 4!/4 or 44 + 4 + √4

Finally! A Super Bowl comic strip that I can laugh at (not at the strip itself, but it reminded me that 50=L…L for “LOSER”!)

The third championship game was the first to be called “Super Bowl”. So how is this one #50?

    It’s Superbowl 32 in hexadecimal. Just like I’m 37. :)

But if they label it this way, people will confuse it with Christmas. No-L.

Did Andy actually say “Super Bowl L”? Now, that’s weird. No matter how you write it, it should be pronounced fifty. I wonder how she referred to Super Bowls XXXV or XLIX.

    I’m looking forward to Super Bowl (9Z – 20) * 5 – GROSS) = 2016.(not really – my team’s not in it so I don’t care – Oh, that’s our shortstop!)

Not really… the AFL and NFL had a final championship game of their own before they merged for the real Super Bowl starting 1966. So your criteria would give a number of superbowls much larger than 95.

Jason missed out here … He could have said that it was the smallest integer which can be expressed as the sum of two positive perfect squares in two different ways. (7^2+1^2, 5^2+5^2)

They couldn’t make the L look good on shirts, so that’s why they went for 50
