Lucy is like the Walmart of psychiatrical help: she charges the lowest prices around to beat the competition, but screws over the less-than-forunate using dishonest tactics for her own benefit.
Charlie Brown really is a true friend to Lucy. He constantly comes to her psychiatry booth even though she gives lousy advice and charges him for it. And always trusts her over and over again with the football. If that’s not loyalty, I don’t know what is.

Now you feel worse for the fact that the charlatan is over charging you again for their lack of helping.

This is soooo typical of lots of professional services I have run into. Lucky me….. I must have that “fleece me” sort of look on my face.

Charlie Brown: “Oh yes. I’ll give you your FIVE CENTS all right”
Five Cents = Five Punches
And yes, I do approve of violence in comic strips. Why? Because it’s not real!
