I think Cleo has a great mask. It fits her personality more than you might realize.

    Old joke.

Shut up, Claude: your nose isn’t properly covered. I’ve seen too many of those jerks yesterday on public transport.

    Welcome, everybody!

    Look! It’s a brand new strip…. featuring the now Covid-19-aware Clifford family…

for the July 27th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    Catch it on Sherpa…

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    NO… _NOT_the virus… the Cliffords out for a walk.

I agree with Farside about Cleo’s mask fitting her personality.

In fact, I’d say it unmasks her more than it masks her.

The problem is, it might not “mask” her at all, as a virus shield…

not if it’s anything like the Chinese dragon masks I know…

cos those have wide-open mouths and eyes, with nothing to cover your breath, in or out.

Then again… dogs can apparently get infected… but it’s rare… but aren’t believed to be carriers.

    Yet.

Claude will need to pull up his mask a tad…

but only when he starts to get closer than 6 feet to another person.

We’re required to wear masks here… indoors in any public space… but not outdoors, IF it’s easily possible to maintain 6 foot distancing.

We were doing very well, until the county started to “open up”.

As soon as we had indoor dining, bars and gyms again…

and families gathering, even in small groups, for things like birthdays and the Fourth of July…

(all without me, of course) ..

it came roaring back, and far surpassed the first wave.

    Meanwhile… I’ve seen some nice mask designs…

not a dragon, yet, but other creatures.

Some were crocheted, tempting me to make one for myself..

but crochet is loose, and not a good barrier, unless it’s lined or stuffed…

and then how do you breathe?

Hard enough in a disposable “surgical” style mask.

Good Morning Ballardeers! First pulmonary doc appointments on day 136 of self quarantine. Wish me luck.

I don’t have a dragon mask, but I have a purple dragon with a blue mask holding a HUGE bottle of hand sanitizer on a T-shirt that says EW. PEOPLE! And my Social Distancing mask. Guess what I’m wearing to the doctor’s office? Anyone? Bueller?

Y’all take care of the ones out there. (((((HUGS!)))))

Good morning, C & C-ites. I really like Cleo’s mask! Just like her to one-up the humans. I can see this strip on Saturday……hmmmm.

In a way today’s ‘toon can be a nostalgia piece. We’ll look back on it in about a year and think about all the Q days. Not very fondly, I’m sure.

You might not like it, Claude, but I think the rest of us do. I keep thinking about what movies are going to be like when they make them about this period in time.

    I’m BAAAaaaack!

Tech was happy. He tells me stuff that I’m not sure he’s supposed to.

Doc was happy. Says I’m stable(?) Everything is the same as 8 months ago. He had a smile on his face and said we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing.

If anyone wants to comment on stable, go for it. Ain’t nothin gonna ruin my mood today. (Other than I’m back in the house again)

    YaY! I"M STABLE!!!

Thanks for the crossed fingers my friends! It’s working.
