I think she needs to go back in, grab that plank, and give Porcho/Perry/Poncho a good swat on the back to get him to leave the nest.

Next, Nocturna Robbins is going to set up the burning coals.

first steps are very important.

I can’t say I hate this comic strip, but I can’t say I love it either. It’s okay. But just okay. And that’s my opinion, so no one scream at me.

Whatever Nocturna’s doing must have worked. Poncho ends up being many things, but “hamstrung by fear” is not one of them.

Rachel, you don’t say how long you’ve been following “Pooch Cafe”, but stick around for a while and it might grow on you (or it might convince you that you hate it). It took me a while to get into the strip, but now it’s one of my favorites. (And it’s not the strip that changed, but my opinion of it; I’ve since bought a couple collections of the earliest strips, and I like those just as much).

I think the main reason people jump on posters who say they don’t like one strip or another isn’t that they hate to have their own opinions invalidated (although there’s certainly some of that), but simply “If you don’t like it, why do you bother telling us? Just stop reading it.”
