For those of you , including myself, who have been fans and frequent readers of The Doozies comic strip, there have been only two strips that have been running since December 2, not to mention another strip belatedly mentioning New Year’s Day (albeit belatedly) that ran as a comment for a couple of weeks. But what has Mr. Gammill been doing up to now? Why no strips honoring Christmas this past December, or Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr in January? Nor strips marking Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, or Presidents Day in February? Or St. Patrick’s Day, or the first day of spring, or Easter last month, or even April Fools’ Day at the beginning of this present month? No tribute strips honoring the memory of singers Natalie Cole, David Bowie, or Glenn Frey or actor Alan Rickman in January? Or Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, author Harper Lee, country music legend Sonny James, or actor George Kennedy in February? Or former First Lady Nancy Reagan, comedian Garry Shandling, or actress Patty Duke last month, or even country music legend Merle Haggard in recent days? Is it likely that any new The Doozies strips will run in GoComics in the foreseeable future? If any new The Doozies strips were drawn in these past four months, is there any way that people will be able to read them online, and are there any possible links to any of these strips, past or present/ I would most surely appreciate any input that either Mr. Gammill or readers may have regarding this matter. Now wouldn’t that be such a doozy?
