Don’t sit and brood about it, she’s just trying to establish a pecking order.

Why dozen he do something? Is he too chicken to stand up to her?

I think it’s out of respeggt for his wife… after all, it’s her mother hen.

Bev… you should see their old photo albumins. You never sausage a big German wedding…

She carried white flours, and he promised to stay with her for batter or for wurst… and he has.

Maybe she wasn’t eggzactly a beauty queen… that chalky complexion, and hard eggsterior… and big bottom end.

But you know, in those early days, she helped him scratch out a living… and never squawked. She always made sure he wasn’t laid for work, even though his salary was chicken feed.

So he’s never broken his promise, and he never shell.

I tried to look at the world sunny side-up but my mother-in-law has become a hard yoke.

Aw Bev…. you don’t have to bow…or, well…. a slight nod is OK, if you insist…and maybe a cup of coffee? It’s thirsty work. And a snickerdoodle? Or is that pushing it?

Jonni… I once made the mistake of “asking” the supermarket butcher whether a “ground turkey” was a special kind of turkey that can’t fly.I had to smile and nod politely while he seriously explained ground turkey to me. For about 10 minutes… and it felt like a week.

Radish…. I was going to say what Bev said, actually.
