Oh, that’s so dearest! I already liked this “series” with little Scrub Jay back then. It told how the little bird had hurt itself and Brambley fall in love with the birdy and had nursed it back to health – yes, that is quite unusual for a cat, but so sweet and cute to read.
Oh, das ist ja so lieb! Diese „Serie“ mit dem kleinen Buschhäher mochte ich damals schon. Darin wurde erzählt, wie sich der kleine Vogel verletzt hatte und Brambley sich in das Vögelchen verliebte und es wieder gesund pflegte – ja, das ist ziemlich ungewöhnlich für eine Katze, aber so süß und niedlich zu lesen.
A long time ago, I adopted four budgerigars from an old Lady that couldn’t take care of them anymore. Born in captivity, they would have died if freed, so I used to close the window of my house and open the little door of theirs, and they flew and walked around for a while, explored – one regularly threw up – then, when tired, they went back inside by themselves. My cat Bibbo was always very nice with them and even allowed them to land on him. Too bad I can’t put pics here.
