Well it could have been worse!!

I like this cartoonist better. The strip is funnier now.

I hope he’s not standing up.

Then again, I hope he’s not sitting down.

The new cartoonist is Mason Mastroianni, Johnny Hart’s grandson. He took over B.C in 2007 and the Wiz last December. That’s why the strips look different. Part of it is Mason draws thicker lines than Parker and Hart did.

I think the priest should disinfect the confessional.

I suppose he can confess his cowardice while he’s there.

I wonder if this ever happened in the “real world”?

That depends on which sacri you’re ligious about.Actually, the strip wasn’t too bad, it’s just us commenters that are the problem and took it that extra step.

This has reminded me of a long-forgotten Red Skelton skit. A clearly distressed voter is waiting to get into the polling booth. When he finally gets in he looks around and asks “Alright, where is it?” [Long pause] “Where’s the phone?”

Well, it would certainly be more useful that way than for the way it’s used now.
